Michael Olise is set to miss the start of Crystal Palace’s season after suffering injury on international duty.
The winger was part of the France U21 squad contesting the European U21 Championship and sustained the issue during Sunday’s 1-0 win over Norway.
The Athletic report that Olise has been diagnosed with a torn hamstring and now faces up to three months on the sidelines.
Early expectations are that he is unlikely to return for the Eagles until the conclusion of October’s international break.
Last season, Olise won Palace’s Player of the Season award and became the first player in club history to hit double figures for Premier League assists in a single campaign.
