Crystal Palace are moving in to threaten Nottingham Forest's pursuit of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar.
The 24-year-old has been a hot property in Europe for several summers, and was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal in the past.

However, it is Forest who have gotten the closest to securing his signature this summer.
Foot Mercato is stating that Forest may be moving too slowly in agreeing a fee with Lyon.
The French giants are seeking £13 million for Aouar, and there is a chance Palace may swoop in and get a deal done.
The London club are established in the Premier League, while Aouar may be eager to work with French legend Patrick Vieira.
