Crystal Palace confirm addition of Chelsea defender

Crystal Palace have confirmed the arrival of Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah on loan for the 24/25 campaign.

The Eagles enjoyed a busy transfer deadline day, confirming the arrivals of Eddie Nketiah and Matt Turner from Arsenal and Nottingham Forest respectively.

Now, they have added another in the shape of Chalobah, who had been cast out of Enzo Maresca's squad at Stamford Bridge and will now have a chance to rebuild his reputation at Selhurst Park.

There is no option or obligation to buy the defender included in the deal, and Chalobah follows Armando Broja and Raheem Sterling in leaving Stamford Bridge on loan in the final minutes of the summer transfer window.
