The Eagles announced news of their latest addition via a post on their official club website this evening.
Percival joins Crystal Palace after making six Barclays Women’s Super League appearances for parent club Spurs in the first half of the season. The New Zealand international has spent the last four-and-a-half years with the North Londoners after joining the club in summer 2019.
Percival has so often been the driving force in the Spurs side, however, she has struggled for starts since returning to fitness following an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury. At the age of 34, Percival needs to be playing as many minutes as possible and she should get plenty of game time at Crystal Palace.
After completing her loan move to Crystal Palace, Percival said “I’m excited to get started. The girls have been great with me so far and I’ve heard great things about the club.
“Palace have had a good start to the season, so it’s about coming in, bringing my experience and doing whatever I can to help the team.”
Percival becomes Crystal Palace head coach Laura Kaminski’s first signing of the January transfer window.
