Crystal Palace have announced the appointment of Patrick Vieira as their new head coach.
After talks with Nuno Espírito Santo and Lucien Favre broke down, Vieira was chosen to replace Roy Hodgson and signed a three-year deal.
Following his retirement from professional football, the 45-year-old previously managed New York City FC and Nice.
Twice shortlisted for the head coach post at Arsenal and also pursued by Newcastle, Vieira now has his chance in the Premier League.
