Cruzeiro have reportedly contacted Juventus to begin negotiating a deal for talented forward Kaio Jorge.
The 22-year-old Brazilian striker spent the 2023-24 season out on loan with Frosinone, where he showed a number of positives under Eusebio Di Francesco despite the club’s eventual relegation to the second division.
Kaio Jorge, who hasn’t managed to break into the Juventus first team since his arrival in August 2021, scored three goals and provided one assist across 22 matches for Frosinone. He is contracted to the Old Lady to June 2026.
As reported by Romeo Agresti, Cruzeiro are now in close contact with Juventus as they look to set up a summer deal for Kaio Jorge, keen to sign the talented striker for around €5m plus add-ons. He cost the Bianconeri around €7m three years ago.
During his time in Brazil, the striker scored 17 goals and picked up four assists across 84 appearances for the Santos first team.
