Yotún was acquired by Orlando City as a Designated Player in August 2017 from Swedish side Malmö.

In 32 MLS appearances, Yotún was lethal from central midfield positions, scoring five times and contributing a whopping 14 assists.

Yotún, who has 78 caps, started all three games for Peru in last summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia and made the 2018 MLS All-Star team.

Cruz Azul are coming off one of their best seasons in recent memory, winning the Copa MX Apertura title before losing to rivals Club América in the Liga MX Apertura final.
