Cristiano Ronaldo's young daughter Alana has been spotted wearing a Liverpool top with Mohamed Salah's name on the back, as his partner Georgina Rodriguez took to Instagram to share a snap of her family.

The Spanish model posted a story on Instagram yesterday from what looks like a spa with the caption "dia de mimos", which roughly translates to "pampering day". Her kids Mateo and Eva (both six) were also spotted in the image, with Alana (five) sporting a Liverpool 2023/24 home shirt with 'Salah 11' on the back.

Ronaldo and his family currently reside in Saudi Arabia after the forward's headline move to Al-Nassr earlier this year. The 37-year-old's move to the Middle East after having his Manchester United contract terminated by mutual consent has proved to be a pivotal moment as several high-profile footballers like Roberto Firmino, Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly have followed his example (and the money) to the Saudi Pro League in the summer transfer window.

Salah himself has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, with the Liverpool attacker entering the last two years of his current deal at the club. The Egyptian is widely seen as the sporting icon of the Arab world and his move to the Middle East would prove to be a landmark moment. Earlier this summer, Saudi Arabian football official Hafez Al-Medlej urged the league to step up their pursuit of Salah, but admitted that it would be hard to prise him away from Anfield.

He said (quotes via Spanish publication AS): "We must also start working on the signing of Mohamed Salah since he is overwhelmingly popular in the Arab world and in Europe. I think Salah still has records to break with Liverpool, so I hope that if he doesn't come now he will in the future."

While Salah is set to remain at Anfield for the coming season, the Reds are set to lose Fabinho and Jordan Henderson to the Middle East, as the pair edge closer to sealing surprise moves to Al-Ittihad and Al Ettifaq, respectively.
