You might have thought Cristiano Ronaldo’s incredible overhead kick against Juventus was a work of art, and now it literally is.

Colombian artist Mauricio Benitez – AKA Mr Bling – has captured that amazing moment at the Allianz Stadium and recreated it using his trademark Swarovski glass crystals.

This week, Benitez got the chance to travel to Turin and present the painting to Ronaldo himself, who liked delighted with it based on the evidence above.

“Thank you @Cristiano for believing in my talent,” wrote Mr Bling via his official Instagram account.

“We go forward from the hand of God.”

That goal ultimately helped Real Madrid knock Juventus out of last season’s Champions League but Ronaldo has since revealed that the standing ovation he was given by the Bianconeri supporters after the final whistle was one of the things which persuaded him to join the Serie A giants in the summer.
