Cristiano Ronaldo is the name on everybody’s lips right now.
The Manchester United superstar made headlines across the globe for his decision to walk down the tunnel before the full-time whistle had sounded during the 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
And when it was later revealed that Ronaldo had in fact refused to come on as a substitute in the final minutes of the Premier League clash, the situation quickly became even more serious.
The club took the decision to banish Ronaldo from the first-team squad for the upcoming Chelsea match with Erik ten Hag duly doubling down on what he expects from his players.
Ronaldo was forced to train with one of United's youth teams as the wider Red Devils squad prepared for a massive Premier League without the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Naturally, it's a dramatic episode which has spread throughout the footballing world like wildfire and left everybody wondering what the future holds for Ronaldo at the 'Theatre of Dreams'.

And although the majority of supporters are backing the nobody-gets-preferential-treatment approach from Ten Hag, there are also thousands upon thousands of passionate Ronaldo fans who see things a little differently.
Such is the stature of the ex-Real Madrid star that the way he's been treated at United has sparked an uproar amongst certain factions, who are opining that the Portuguese has been disrespected.
And few fans of Ronaldo come bigger than social media sensation 'IShowSpeed', who can seldom go a single day without going viral for one of his animated and chaotic livestreams.
Speed is a massive Ronaldo fan to the point that he'll hail the United star as the greatest player of all time till the cows come home, often criticising Lionel Messi by comparison as he does so.
As such, you can probably imagine how the internet star reacted to the news that Ronaldo had been suspended from United's first-team squad...
Yes, that's right, he was absolutely fuming and subsequently attracted big numbers online for responding to the news by speaking to none other than Mark Goldbridge, who heads up The United Stand and actually coached Speed at the recent Sidemen charity match.
It's the collaboration that you never knew you needed and when you throw in a controversial talking point surrounding Speed's favourite player then entertainment was always guaranteed.
So amidst all the seriousness of Ronaldo's complicated situation at Old Trafford, perhaps you can find some solace and anomalous amusement out of Speed and Goldbridge discussing it all down below:
And if you wanted to see the exact moment that Speed discovered what was going on with Ronaldo while he was streaming, then you can also check that out right here.
The crazy world of the internet is certainly a weird and wacky place.
While Speed evidently isn't the most knowledgable of Ronaldo fans by way of not knowing who the Glazers are and mistaking Goldbridge for a former United manager, you definitely can't accuse him of lacking passion for the player that he considers to be the greatest of all time.
You'll forgive us for thinking that his argument for Ronaldo having been hard done by isn't the most watertight that we've ever heard, but it was certainly entertaining, that's for sure.
And it just goes to show that whatever comes of this Ronaldo drama and wherever he might go if he does leave United that there will always be fans like Speed who will back him every step of the way.
Like it or lump it, Ronaldo is - after all - as big as an entire club when it comes to his following.
