Victor Osimhen has been one of the best footballers on the planet throughout the course of 2022/23 thus far.
The Nigerian striker and his Napoli team have been at the very peak of their powers, which is why Luciano Spalletti's side are 13 points clear at the top of the Serie A table.
Osimhen leads the way in numerous individual departments.
He's the division's top scorer with 16 goals from just 17 appearances, with Atalanta star Ademola Lookman his closest competitor with 12 from 20.
Osimhen has also contributed three assists in Serie A, which means no player possesses more overall goal contributions at the time of writing.
His supremely-gifted Napoli teammate, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, is the closest competitor in that regard, the Georgian currently on eight goals and nine assists.

Osimhen's two latest goals in Serie A this season came last weekend in an eventual 3-0 win away at Spezia for Napoli.
Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring from the penalty spot right at the start of the second half, before his colleague took centre stage.
And Osimhen's second goal was quite extraordinary. No, it wasn't a long-range effort or a thunderous volley, instead it was an awesome display of physical prowess.
The former Lille man produced a vertical leap that mere mortals would simply not comprehend to get his head to the ball and direct it goalwards.

Osimhen reached a height of 2.58 metres for the goal, which is very, very impressive.
Now that figure might not mean much at first glance, but there's a significant level of importance to it.
Why? Well, Osimhen's leap at Spezia saw him better Cristiano Ronaldo's famous header for Juventus versus Sampdoria.
Per ESPN, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner reached a height of 2.56 metres.
Let's take a look at both goals...
Two goals, two gravity-defying leaps, but there can only be one winner - and it's Osimhen.
But amazingly, Osimhen hasn't set a new Serie A record for the highest vertical leap.
The holder of the accolade remains AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori, who reached a height of 2.63 metres when scoring a goal during a 3-0 win over Juventus in May of 2021.
Don't be surprised if the spring-heeled Osimhen breaks the record before the end of the campaign, though...
