But in the year since departing Los Blancos the Ballon d’Or winner has apparently been acting as an agony uncle to three of the world’s most sought-after players.

Fox Sports has sensationally claimed that Ronaldo has told Paul Pogba, Matthijs de Ligt and João Félix to all reject the advances of Real Madrid, and instead seek their fortunes elsewhere.

Pogba and De Ligt have both been of interest to Madrid, but now look as if they could be on their way to join Ronaldo at Juventus.

Felix meanwhile was thought to be on the verge of agreeing to go to Zinedine Zidane’s side, but will now sign for Atlético Madrid instead.

Blimey.
