A man has ended up in hospital after an attempt at Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siuuu’ relationship went wrong.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘Siuuu’ celebration is one of the most recognisable in football right now, and has even transcended into other sports.

So much so that Ricky Evans whipped out the iconic celebration during the PDC World Championship in December of last year.

The celebration is also often attempted by fans at home and on the football pitch, and if you’re being honest, you’ve probably tried it too.

One man attempted the ‘Siuuu’ celebration after slotting home a penalty during what looks like a five-a-side game, but things didn’t exactly go to plan for him.

The man, as can be seen below, attempted the celebration when his knee unfortunately buckled and gave way, leaving him in a heap on the floor.

As you can see from the clip, the injury was so bad that the lad ended up needing to go to the hospital for scans and assessment.

There is no update on the status of the man, and no word on how he is doing after the injury, but the incident did look incredibly painful.

Things didn’t go too badly for the lad though, as he ended up being able to enjoy a beer and what looks like a pizza in the hospital while waiting for the results of his tests.

As noted, the ‘Siuuu’ is the iconic celebration used by former Real Madrid star and current Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo was left out of Man United’s squad for the Manchester Derby on Sunday night, with reports suggesting he returned to Portugal after reporting issues with his hip.

Things haven’t exactly gone to plan for Ronaldo in his return to England, as Man United sit in fifth spot, with a finish in the Champions League looking unlikely.
