Cristiano Ronaldo seemingly left an Al-Nassr teammate in shock with his incredible leap in training.

Ronaldo is yet to make his debut for the Saudi side following his move from Manchester United. However, he’s still impressing his new colleagues in training it seems.

The Portuguese superstar turns 38 next month but there’s no doubt he’s still in incredible physical shape.

While his age may have caught up with him in terms of playing football at the very top of European football, he’s still young enough to leave his teammates ‘gobsmacked.’

Ronaldo has been pictured producing one of his trademark leaps for a header, jumping several metres off the ground as a cross comes into the box.

And if you look closely, you’ll see a teammate of his left open-mouthed at Ronaldo’s leap.

Air Ronaldo is ready for take-off.

The leap is reminiscent of the iconic jump Ronaldo performed when scoring a header for Juventus against Sampdoria in 2019. It’s believed he lept eight feet in the air during that goal.

Claudio Ranieri, Sampdoria’s boss at the time, gave a fantastic post-match interview afterwards saying: “Ronaldo did something that you see in the NBA. He was up in the air for an hour and a half.”

He may almost be 38 but Ronaldo can still jump, that’s for sure.

What has Al-Nassr manager said about Ronaldo?

While Ronaldo has been made to wait for his debut, his manager, Rudi Garcia, has been impressed with his attitude in training.

“It’s great. Great for us, for Al-Nassr. Great for Saudi Arabia,” the Frenchman said.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is more than a player. He is one of the best players in the world. It’s amazing how much it’s put a spotlight on our club. Now, everyone knows where our club is around the world. We must have gone from 800,000 (followers) to 10 million in a few hours, a few days, because of Cristiano’s arrival.

“The greatest champions are the easiest to manage. He (Ronaldo) blended in with the squad. We saw him joking and laughing with pleasure with his new team-mates. He was with us for the last game, even if he couldn’t play. He was in the locker room, riding his bike.”

When is Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr debut?

Ronaldo’s first match since his move to Saudi may actually be against Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain in an exhibition match next Thursday.

And while every football fan in world football wants to see the two rivals go head-to-head once again, Garcia isn’t too keen.

“It [Ronaldo’s debut] won’t be with the Al-Nassr jersey,” Garcia said.

“It will be a mix between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr. As the coach of Al-Nassr, I cannot be happy with this match. For development, to see PSG, to see the great Parisian players, indeed it is a good thing. But we have a championship game three days later. In terms of scheduling, it could have been better thought out. But it’s not a big deal, we are in the lead, we are happy. It is a difficult championship to win, but we intend to do it.”
