A bunch of player ratings and stats have been revealed for FIFA 23 including one of the greatest of all time – Cristiano Ronaldo. Here we’ll take an in-depth look at his new stats in the game.
The Portuguese phenomenon has won it all in world football. During his time at Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus he’s won Champions Leagues, Premier Leagues, La Ligas and so much more.
But sadly, the Icon of a forward is now on a slow decline, which many knew was going to impact his overall rating and his stats in FIFA 23.
Let’s have a deep dive into each individual statistic the Portuguese forward now possesses.
Overall Pace: 81
A -6 from FIFA 22, Ronaldo has been downgraded for pace. But probably rightly so. This will make him far less desirable in FIFA 23, but chemistry styles could, literally, bring him back up to speed.
Overall Shooting: 92
As the maestro has aged, his shooting is still certainly top-notch – which is reflected in his new FIFA stats.
Overall Passing: 78
Now, this is the first set of stats that does seem a little harsh. Ronaldo still can certainly pick a pass and this has been part of his all-round game for years. Free-kick accuracy 79? Yep, probably deserved.
Overall Dribbling: 85
This is what may kill CR7’s card in FIFA 23. Balance is always a key aspect for an attacking threat and at a low rating of 67, depending on the style of play FIFA 23 needs, Ronaldo’s card may be a disaster.
Overall Defending: 34
This one doesn’t really matter too much, but it’s all probably justified. The striker isn’t renowned for his tracking back and getting stuck in defensively, so we deem this as nothing but fair.
Overall Physical: 75
Finally, we have his physical attributes, which are underwhelming. His jumping is bang on. He has one of the best leaps in world football, but as age progresses his stamina depletes and depletes – which will make him tired at the end of FIFA matches.
