Cristiano Ronaldo has hit yet another remarkable milestone, scoring his 800th club goal during Al Nassr’s loss to Al Fateh on Monday.
The goal came in the 42nd minute, as Ronaldo headed home from a Mohammed Al-Fatil corner. That strike takes him to 99 goals for Al Nassr - just one short of reaching a century with the club.
The Portuguese icon made his professional debut on 13 August 2002, facing Inter Milan in a Champions League qualifier. He scored just five goals for Sporting CP, where his journey began.
Ronaldo is still Real Madrid’s all-time leading scorer with 450 goals, and has also surpassed the 100-goal mark at both Manchester United (145) and Juventus (101). Now, he's closing in on the same feat with Al Nassr.
So far this season, the 40-year-old has notched 35 goals and provided four assists. With the season drawing to a close, attention now turns to whether Ronaldo will choose to extend his stay at Al Nassr.
