Cristiano Ronaldo has the ‘physical capacity of a 20-year-old’ according to a report following his Juventus medical.
The 33-year-old is entering the twilight of his career in terms of years, however he is seemingly as fit as those just starting their football journey, matching players 13 years his junior!
Having joined the Serie A giants from Real Madrid this summer in a €112m deal, some impressive statistics have come from the examination.
Analyst Matteo Bonetti tweeted Ronaldo boasts just 7% body fat (10-11% is avg for a professional) and 50% muscular mass (46% is avg for a professional) while he ran 33.98km during the World Cup, more than any other player in the entire tournament.
The Portugal international also recorded the highest Athletic Performance Index score out of all the players who participated at the World Cup 2018: 52.
And, as we reported earlier on Monday, Ronaldo has no plans to slow down and fully intends to maintain his incredible fitness by transferring his €2m NASA machine to his new home in Turin.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Portugal international is keen for the space age machinery, which allows him to workout in the absence of gravity, to be delivered from Madrid.
Incredible.
