It seems like barely a week goes by when Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi aren’t setting some kind of record or another.
And on Wednesday night it was Ronaldo’s turn to write his name into the history books again.
Juventus travelled to face Sassuolo in a Serie A game which could be crucial in their quest to finish in the top four.
And just before half-time, Ronaldo put them 2-0 up with a typically cool finish into the bottom corner.
That was the 36-year-old’s 100th goal for the Bianconeri, meaning he has now scored 100+ goals for three different clubs in three different countries AND his national team.
Truly extraordinary.
