New manager Cristian Chivu has launched a subtle overhaul at Inter Milan, focusing on mending fractured bonds.
According to Corriere della Sera via FCInterNews, the Romanian boss is keen to restore a fee-good factor at San Siro.
Cristian Chivu has inherited a fractured squad from Simone Inzaghi.
On paper, Inter look strong, perhaps even better than last season, yet the team desperately lacks confidence.
Indeed, the 2024/25 season was heartbreaking.
In addition to a disastrous defeat in the Champions League final, the Nerazzurri lost a tight Scudetto race to Napoli.

Chivu’s first assignment is to restore confidence inside the dressing room.
Meanwhile, his training methods are similar to Inzaghi’s with one crucial difference.
Indeed, he demands a much higher intensity, especially in the defensive phase.
Furthermore, the 44-year-old has to address another major setback.
The three key first-team stars have strained relationships, and Chivu is working hard to rebuild trust and cohesion among them.
Lautaro Martinez, Hakan Calhanoglu, and Marcus Thuram are the players in question.
However, Chivu has already laid the groundwork for improvement through open communication and team-building sessions.
