Cremonese manager Giovanni Stroppa analyzed his team’s performance in their 2-1 loss to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
“We made mistakes in the episodes, the mistake that led to Lukaku’s goal was all ours. It’s a shame to lose in the final minutes but I want to praise my team who played very well tonight,” Stroppa told Sportmediaset after the game.
“I didn’t see the usual Cremonese but a very strong team that wasn’t afraid of playing against Roma in a packed stadium,” he added.
“It’s a shame to concede a penalty in the final minutes, but we have to look at the positives from tonight. We must continue to work hard like this and we will do well.”
