Philippe Coutinho is at the centre of a new flashpoint between Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman and president Joan Laporta.

As part of Coutinho's sale by Liverpool to Barca, should he reach 100 games for the Blaugrana, then the Catalans will owe a further €20m to his former club.

At the moment, the Brazil midfielder is six games away from reaching that mark.

And Okdiario's chief football pundit Eduardo Inda, while speaking on El Chiringuito, revealed the situation is adding to the feud between Laporta and Koeman.

"It's hilarious," said Inda, quoted by Okdiario. "If Coutinho plays six more games, Barça would have to pay Liverpool 20 million euros.

"Laporta tells Koeman that he has to play with a 4-3-3 and Koeman wants a 5-3-2, so he says that if they don't let him he will have to put on Coutinho."

There has been tension between Laporta and Koeman ever since the president declared publicly plans to replace the Dutchman at the end of last season. Koeman has been critical of the president in recent weeks amid talk of him being replaced after a run of disappointing results.

Victory over Levante on the weekend has eased pressure on Koeman ahead of tonight's Champions League clash against Benfica.

Inda founded Okdiario, now one of Spain's most popular news outlets, after leaving El Mundo.
