MIAMI – The 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship continues Tuesday with the third round of encounters in Group A at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

The final day of the Group Stage will feature Costa Rica and Puerto Rico vying for the last berth in the Semifinals and the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. The team that finishes among the top two in the group will advance to the Knockout Stage.

Puerto Rico vs. Guyana

Puerto Rico meets Guyana in the first encounter of the day. Both sides will seek to leave the tournament with their first win of the campaign.

Puerto Rico is coming off a 3-1 loss to the United States and needs a victory to keep its qualification hopes alive. Aurora Gaines scored the lone goal for Las Boricuas so far and will aim to lead her nation to a win.

Guyana will seek redemption after falling to Costa RicaMyanne Fernandes and Jayda Schoburgh were the players that came closest to scoring, each with one shot on target.

United States vs. Costa Rica

The United States and Costa Rica meet in an encounter that will decide first place in the group.

The U.S. are among the best offensive teams in the tournament, collecting 11 goals to tie with Canada. Mary Long collected a brace in the win against Puerto Rico. Izzy Engle leads the team with four goals and is second in the Top Scorer race.

Costa Rica will seek to obtain its second victory of the campaign. Sheika Scott rose to the top of the scoring charts with five goals in the victory against Guyana. Emma Azofeifa also shined in the previous match with a brace.
