AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli could be forced into making multiple changes for the game against Empoli as the injuries continue to pile up, a report claims.

Theo Hernandez has left the France camp due to an adductor strain and Davide Calabria is at Milanello trying to get over his own muscle problem, while the medical staff are waiting for word on Mike Maignan who was forced off at half time last night during France’s win against Austria with a calf issue.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), Tonali will not play tonight against England due to a muscle problem that will be evaluated by Milan in the next few days and he is actually not expected to be available for the first game back after the break against Empoli.

The target for the Rossoneri midfielder will be to return to the field against Chelsea in the Champions League early next month as a precaution to avoid an overload. The two games against Chelsea either side of the game against Juventus have priority.
