Yet another newspaper has deemed Franck Kessie to be AC Milan’s weak link during the 1-1 draw against Juventus last night.

This morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) carries their player ratings, starting with the positive notes as Sandro Tonali got a score of 7.5 out of 10, managing to resist the early pressure from Juve before dominating the midfield virtually on his own.

Mike Maignan and substitute Pierre Kalulu got a 7 out of 10 for their performances, with the latter making a big difference at right-back, with Fikayo Tomori and goalscorer Ante Rebić getting a 6.5 score.

Simon Kjær got a 6 for his 35-minute outing before coming off injured as did his centre-back partner Alessio Romagnoli, while Theo Hernández and Ismaël Bennacer got the same. Alexis Saelemaekers, Alessandro Florenzi, Brahim Díaz and Rafael Leão also received a 6.

Then we come to Franck Kessié’s performance, and the paper have him down as the worst on the field among the Rossoneri players with a score of 5.5 justified as follows: “It is a bit difficult to be proactive because he has to plug up the holes in the midfield. You can see that his condition is not the one that led him to being the ‘President’ of Milan.”
