CorSport: Milan and Napoli also rivals on the mercato – Spezia man in limbo | OneFootball

In recent months, AC Milan have been linked quite a lot with Spezia defender Jakub Kiwior, who has impressed despite his young age. They will face competition from Napoli, though, a report claims.

Napoli are currently eight points ahead of Milan in the Serie A standings and the rivalry extends beyond the table. According to Corriere Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, both clubs are keeping a close eye on Spezia defender Kiwior.

Milan have already asked for information on the 22-year-old, which they did during the negotiations that brought both Mattia Caldara and Daniel Maldini to Spezia. However, Napoli are ready to get involved and must be watched out for.

Spezia rejected €12m for the player last summer, per the report, and the current price tag is a lot higher than that. Most likely above €20m and it remains to be seen if Milan are willing to invest such an amount in the player.
