AC Milan are one of the most international teams in Serie A right now and that could continue in the future with Jovan Kirovski reportedly looking abroad for the next crop of talented youngsters.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), Kirovski, who is essentially the sporting director for the Milan U23 project, will have more of a focus on foreign talent rather than Italians going forward.

Kirovski only recently began officially working in this role but realistically he has been making progress for weeks, with only the formalities missing around what his role would actually be called.

He is tasked with helping to build a squad that can be successful in Serie C and help to produce players that can help the first team, be that through bringing them in from the Primavera team or signing them.

The expectation is that, whilst there will of course be plenty of Italian players in the team and signing for the team, Kirovski will not shy away from travelling around Europe and the United States of America to add to the talent pool at the club.

Italy’s Euro 2024 squad featured no AC Milan players, a testament to how international the team has become in recent seasons.
