AC Milan are still interested in signing Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer primarily due to the Serie A experience that he could bring to the midfield.

As reported by Corriere della Sera (via Radio Rossonera), the likes of Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada are not ruling out the possibility of signing the Frenchman for a very specific reason.

With Olivier Giroud and Simon Kjaer having now left the club, much of the Serie A experience in the team has disappeared. With Rabiot being 29 and having played for Juventus since 2019, he could provide some much-needed guidance to other new players and those who have spent only year at the club.

Despite becoming a figure of derision at one stage, Rabiot had an excellent season in 2023/24 at Juventus and there is no doubt that he could raise the technical level in the Milan midfield.

Naturally, his wage demands will be a test for the Rossoneri but there would not be a transfer fee to pay. The club has already held talks with his mother Veronica Rabiot, who also acts as his agent to see if there is any interest in the move.

Milan are not thought to be actively pursuing Rabiot but he is an option that they want to keep open.
