AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic intends to be fit and back in action on the pitch by January 2023, a report claims.
As has been reported by Corriere della Sera (via Milan News), the Swede wants to be back at Milanello by August and that is where he will continue his rehabilitation.
He underwent knee surgery at the end of May which is the second time in his career that he’s had knee surgery. He also had it after a bad injury whilst playing for Manchester United in the Europa League.
He is currently undergoing the first stages of rehabilitation but will be at the Milan training ground in August where he will start to take the next steps and spend more time around the squad.
That is all with the aim of being able to offer Stefano Pioli a new option in the attack come January 2023 when some players in the squad could be tired or injured from the World Cup.
