AC Milan were one of the most active clubs during the winter transfer window, and now the fans are dreaming about how the team could link.
As Corriere della Sera (via MilanNews) recall this morning, Milan acquired five new players: Kyle Walker from Manchester City, Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord, Joao Felix from Chelsea, Warren Bondo from Monza and Riccardo Sottil from Fiorentina.
The excitement has also returned among the fans, especially because of the two reinforcements in attack because they dream of seeing the ‘Fab Four’ with Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao flanking Felix and Gimenez up front in a 4-4-2.
Against Empoli on Saturday, Milan played the second half with this ‘super attack’ that got the job done. The Rossoneri now possess fearful firepower that should be able to unlock any game, but which must be supported by a solid midfield.
For this reason, Sergio Conceiçao’s work will be fundamental, as he will have to find the right balance on the pitch and ‘convince’ the four forward players that without a little sacrifice from them in the non-possession phase, the team risks suffering too much.
More Stories / The Match
On Wednesday evening, Milan will be playing the first leg of the Champions League play-offs away against Feyenoord. The Rossoneri come into this match with several absentees, especially in midfield, and so it is likely that Pulisic, Felix, Gimenez and Leao will be seen from the first minute in Rotterdam.
Obviously, it will be a special match for the Mexican centre-forward who until a few days ago was training with the Dutch club before being bought by the Diavolo. It will be a good test in a cauldron of a stadium, against a team that showed Bayern Munich the dangers they possess.
