The programme that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will follow during next week’s appearances at the Sanremo Festival has finally been confirmed, a report claims.

As il Corriere della Sera reports (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic’s appearance at the festival has been a big talking point for several weeks now, especially based on how the player and Milan would organise the week around the commitments.

The paper reports that Ibra will be on stage every night except Wednesday when he will be on the pitch at San Siro in the match against Udinese. The prevent the Swede from commuting between Milan and Sanremo, the player will stay for a few days on the Riviera where he will train with help of a Milan trainer and a physiotherapist on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

On Monday he will attend training at Milanello, on Tuesday he will be in Liguria for the first evening of the festival, on Wednesday he will return to Milan for the match against Udinese, on Thursday he will return to Sanremo where he will remain until the final evening on Saturday. Early Sunday morning, Zlatan will then join the rest of the Rossoneri team in Verona for the 3pm match against Hellas.

Many fans have criticised Ibra’s participation in the Sanremo Festival on social media, but calmness filters from the club and it is not a facade because they trust the Swede and his enormous professionalism.
