After the words of the MLS commissioner, Don Garber, who stated that Zlatan Ibrahimovic ‘is being recruited by AC Milan’ (via ESPN), there have been several rumours on a potential return to the Rossoneri for the big Swede.

However, at least for the time being, it seems unlikely. According to Corriere Della Sera, Ibrahimovic sold his house in Via Santo Spirito, Milan, just this week. Certainly, buying a new one wouldn’t be a problem, especially since he got €5m from the sale.

In other words, it remains to be seen if this was a goodbye to the rumours of a return, or if he actually wants to start the comeback with a new house in the city. In any case, Milan could certainly use his experience after a poor start to the season.

As Ibrahimovic has displayed before in his career, he isn’t exactly afraid of taking the reigns in a team. The striker’s contract with LA Galaxy expires at the end of December, meaning he could arrive for free.
