Joaquin Correa says he was determined to join Inter Milan this summer.
The midfielder followed former Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi to Inter ahead of the new season.
“As a child, I wanted to come here at all costs. It was too important to me," the 27-year-old said.
“When I was playing in Argentina, I heard about the interest from Inter, but I didn't leave my club. It was beautiful [to join Inter] because I was a child who dreamed of playing here.
“It was so important [to reunite with Inzaghi]. Coming here to Inter was already a dream for me, then when I received his call, I had no doubt, I did not want to be anywhere else," the striker revealed.
“I received a warm welcome, everybody made me feel at home and I've understood what Inter is. This jersey is heavy and too important.
“We aim to do the best in every competition, we have a great team. I won't mention any title, but we want to win every game. It's easier when you play with these players, I have fun, and I always receive great service."
