Corinthians have adjusted their sights and are now looking at the possibility of making a move for Sampdoria left-back Dodô.
Sidcley was seen as the Timão’s prime target for the position, but dithering by Dynamo Kiev has seen that potential transfer stall.
According to GloboEsporte.com, Dynamo are waiting for the January transfer window to open to see if there are any other potential suitors for Sidcley.
Corinthians are seemingly not prepared to wait for that possible bidding war to begin, and are open to the idea of bringing Dodô back to the club.
The 27-year-old defender was on the books of the Timão for three years before moving to Italian side Roma in 2012.
Signed on a permanent basis by Sampdoria in 2018, Dodô has since had loan spells in his native Brazil with Santos and Cruzeiro.
With the latter enduring financial difficulties at the moment, it is unlikely that Dodô will return to the Belo Horizonte club in the new year.
