Corinthians appear to have beaten Cruzeiro and Santos in the race to sign Guarani striker Matheus Davó.
According to Goal Brasil, the two sides have come to an agreement for the 20-year-old to join Timão in January in a R$4.5m (€1m) deal.
Davó, has two goals in 21 Serie B matches this season for the 14th-placed outfit.
At the beginning of the year, he shone at the São Paulo Junior Football Cup – finding the back of the net on six occasions to help bring his side to the semifinal of the competition for the first time since 1994.
Guarani owns 60% of the young attacker’s economic rights. The other 40% belongs to Elenko Sports, which is responsible for the career of several Corinthian players, including Gabriel, Matheus Jesus, Danilo Avelar and Renê Júnior.
