Corinthians are reportedly close to finalising the transfer of Douglas to PAOK. The deal should be completed in the next few days.
According to Goal Brasil, the current Greek champions made an official bid of R$21.8m (€5m) for the defensive midfielder, who has been on loan at Bahia since the beginning of the year.
The former Fluminense player is 100 per cent owned by Corinthians and Timão are willing to sell 85 per cent of his rights to PAOK.
In recent days, Ligue 1 side Nantes also expressed interest in the 22-year-old.
Douglas arrived at Corinthians last July in a €1m move and featured in 21 games but failed to impress enough to leap over Ralf and Richard in the pecking order.
Last week, Richard was loaned out to Vasco until the end of the season.
