AC Milan are getting closer to the signing of Yunus Musah from Valencia as the asking price has been lowered slightly, a report claims.
According to a report from Deportes COPE Valencia, Musah is moving closer to joining Milan. Valencia have now moved from their stance of demanding €25m and hope to be able to close an agreement for €20m.
Both clubs are happy to accelerate the negotiation, meaning that the Rossoneri might well now get the final piece for the midfield that they have been after since Tijjani Reijnders arrived from AZ Alkmaar.
Musah is under contract until June 2026 but Valencia have financial problems and thus are likely to be forced into selling their key assets, of which the USA international is certainly one.
The 20-year-old is understood to be keen on the move and he is not currently training with the rest of the squad due to knee discomfort, which could of course be a smokescreen of sorts.
