Everything will start at El Monumental on 23 October between three-time champion River and defending champion Grêmio.
The next day at La Bombonera, Boca Juniors and Palmeiras will play their first match. The two clubs met in group play, with the Brazilians winning 2-0 in Argentina after a 1-1 draw at home.
The following week in Brazil, everything will be decided.
For the first time since the competition’s inception, the Copa Libertadores semi-finals exclusively pit Argentina and Brazil against each other.
If Boca and River win, they will face off in the first Superclásico final in Libertadores history.
Palmeiras haven’t reached the Copa Libertadores final since winning in 1999 when Luiz Felipe Scolari was also in charge.
