Chelsea have done a new striker transfer deal this week but there are some confusing and contrasting updates on the actual deal done.
The Blues had a terrible January transfer window and really, only managed to get a few outgoing loan deals done.
Joao Felix was one of the players who went out on loan to join AC Milan and despite a good start there, he has not had a good review in the last couple of games.
One player who is getting rave reviews though is versatile defender and midfielder Rentao Veiga, who joined Juventus on loan last month so he could play as a centre back. He is having a superb time there right now, and Juventus fans are urging their club to buy him on a permanent deal come the end of this season when his loan is up.
There has been another deal done even way after the window has closed, with striker Deivid Washington joining his former club Santos on loan.
The Brazilian club are actually reporting that there is an option to buy in the loan deal, so Washington could rejoin his former club in the summer.
However, reporters Ben Jacobs and Fabrizio Romano are disputing that and claim that there is no option to buy in the deal.
I can solve this one for you. Chelsea are saying there is NO option, but Santos are saying there IS an option. Only time will tell which one is correct! I’d suggest there probably is an option to be honest, but Chelsea will want to be seen as the ones with the power. I’m pretty sure they will probably sell the player come the summer.
