Adrien Rabiot's contract demands have been revealed as the Frenchman remains without a club.
Rabiot walked away from Juventus upon the expiry of his contract, having played 35 times for the Italian giants last campaign.
He remains without a club beyond the beginning of the domestic campaign, and a big reason for that could be down to his extortionate wage demands.
The 29-year-old wants a €40 million package over the next three seasons, which would make him Liverpool's second-highest paid player, earning more than the likes of Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alisson Becker.
Rabiot seemed like a smart coup on a free transfer with European and international pedigree, but it's safe to say with demands that high, he'll be lucky to find a suitor in Europe, which is his preference as he seeks Champions League football.

It's no secret that Liverpool are seeking another central midfielder to bolster their ranks but despite reportedly expressing interest in Rabiot, a solution to their issue may yet be someone else.
Rabiot would have fitted the mould in an Arne Slot system, with the Frenchman possessing mountains of experience in a double pivot as well as being able to operate as a left back.
Liverpool missed out on their priority target in Martin Zubimendi, who opted to stay put in the Basque Country with his boyhood club Real Sociedad.
The Reds failed to land their first-choice options last summer too, with both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia choosing Chelsea over the Anfield club.
Liverpool aren't currently feeling the damage from not recruiting a midfielder after winning their opening three games of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
The emergence of Ryan Gravenberch in Slot's system has seen Liverpool's midfield be one of the standouts in a perfect start to the campaign.
