Manchester City will face Tottenham Hotspur at home in the semi-finals of the 2021/22 Continental Cup.
Gareth Taylor's side will lock horns with the North London outfit at the Academy Stadium on either Wednesday 2 or Thursday 3 February 2022 for a place in March's Final.
The draw was made on talkSPORT2 on Thursday, after Gareth Taylor's side had booked our place in the final four with a deserved 3-1 victory over Bristol City at the Academy Stadium on Wednesday night.
The visitors took an unlikely lead early on though an Alex Greenwood own-goal but a Bunny Shaw brace and Vicky Losada strike were enough to see the home side progress.
We have reached the penultimate stage of the competition on six occasions, and have gone on to win the entire tournament three times, the most recent of those coming in 2019.
The Final, which will be played at AFC Wimbledon’s Plough Lane, is scheduled for Saturday 5 March 2022.
Stay tuned to mancity.com and our official app for details of our rearranged fixture with Leicester and the proposed quarter-final date, which will be communicated in due course.
