Conte says Tottenham defender Romero hungry to improve after Brighton goal

Tottenham coach Antonio Conte believes young defender Christian Romero can improve a lot.

The center-back has been an inspired signing for Spurs since the start of the season, settling in to the team's back line.

While Romero has made the odd error this term, Conte believes that he will continue to grow as he experiences more top matches in the Premier League.

Romero scored during a 2-0 win over Brighton in the league on Wednesday.

Speaking post-game, Conte stated: "He has room for a lot of improvement.

"He has to have the desire to continue to improve and ask from within himself much more.

"It's down to him and for the manager to help him in a good way and a bad way."
