West Ham United have confirmed that Conor Coventry has left the club on a permanent switch to Charlton Athletic.
The boyhood Hammers fan joined the club as a 10-year-old and made 10 first-team appearances, but with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, he has left for the Addicks in search of more opportunities.
The 23-year-old captained West Ham at various youth levels and made one Premier League appearance – against Manchester City on the opening day of the 2022/23 season.
He has represented the Republic of Ireland and U21 level, and previously enjoyed loan spells at Lincoln City, Peterborough United, Milton Keynes Dons and Rotherham United.
