Swedish international Victor Lindelöf is set to extend his stay in the Premier League after agreeing to join Aston Villa following his departure from Manchester United.

The centre-back has committed to a two-year deal with an option for an additional season, choosing Villa despite receiving proposals from both Everton and Fiorentina.

A medical examination is scheduled to take place shortly, after which the transfer will be formally completed.
