Manchester City could have a long list of players in action during the upcoming October international break, with UEFA Nations League and FIFA World Cup qualifiers scheduled alongside youth team outings.

The break comes at a challenging time for Pep Guardiola and his players and separates two blocks of intense fixture scheduling, with matches coming across three competitions for the all-conquering Etihad Stadium squad.

The final game for Manchester City before their October commitments will see the club take on Fulham at home in the Premier League, with Marco Silva’s side unbeaten since the first game of the season and a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United.

A trip to Molineux in the Premier League will then welcome back Manchester City to club duties before a meeting with Sparta Prague in the UEFA Champions League and Tottenham in the Carabao Cup fourth round makes up an intense block of Autumnal fixtures.

Ahead of the start of the second international break of the ongoing campaign, here is a comprehensive round-up of the Manchester City players selected to feature for their respective national team this month!

Manchester City’s first-team representation for international teams is significantly reduced in October, with ongoing injury problems being recovered from by a number of players this month, including Nathan Ake.

The Dutch defender sustained a muscular problem during the last bulk of international fixtures in September, and has since remained absence from all of Manchester City’s contests. Kevin De Bruyne will play no part for Belgium this month due to an ongoing groin problem.

In more long-term injuries, Oscar Bobb and Rodri will not feature as they recover from a leg bone fracture and an ACL and meniscus injury respectively.
