The officials have been confirmed for Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Chelsea are hoping to return to the top half of the Premier League with a win over the Eagles following defeat last time out to Wolves on Christmas Eve.

Mauricio Pochettino was unable to hand Chelsea supporters with three points as an early Christmas present, with the Blues being punished for their lack of quality in both boxes at Molineux.

“We need to win,” insisted Pochettino ahead of their fixture against Crystal Palace. “We need to perform. We need to go one better than today (versus Wolves). The performances from the beginning of this season have been not bad, we can’t say they’ve been very good.

“In football it’s all about having the knowledge, the quality, the set-ups, the press and the way we play (out) from the back, but then during the 90 minutes you need to compete. That is where we need to improve.”

Pochettino added: “(We are) so far away (from our season objectives). To be honest our target was to be on top. We are Chelsea, with our history and everything, it demands us to be near the top. But at the moment we need to be realistic, we need to compete better if we want to win more games.”

Now the officials for the league meeting have been revealed by the Premier League ahead of the encounter.

The Premier League have confirmed that Michael Salisbury will take charge of the meeting in London.

Tim Robinson has been named as the Fourth Official for Wednesday’s match, with the referee overseeing conduct within the two dugouts, and the behaviour of Mauricio Pochettino and Roy Hodgson.
