Jurgen Klopp has announced his highly anticipated line-up for this evening’s Premier League clash with Leicester City as Liverpool look to go level with Tottenham for top spot in the table.
The Reds have had a lot to contend with going into this clash with Joe Gomez, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson picking up injuries in recent weeks, whilst Mo Salah returned a positive Coronavirus test.
Even so, Klopp has managed to put together a side that still poses a threat and the hope will be if the Reds can beat Leicester this evening it’ll be a warning to other title challengers that the champions aren’t going without a fight:
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Despite the worries and concerns about the side this evening, it looks a pretty strong one.
Joel Matip and Fabinho will hopefully forge a good partnership whilst Jurgen Klopp has opted to bring in James Milner at right-back ahead of Neco Williams.
Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane lead the line, meanwhile, with Mo Salah out.
