Pep Guardiola has named his Manchester City team for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City can return to the top of the Premier League table this weekend, as they look to extend their impressive winning streak against visitors Bournemouth, who have never beaten the Blues.

Guardiola’s side have won their previous 13 matches against the Cherries, and are looking for their fourth straight win across all competitions, having successfully bounced back from suffering three successive domestic defeats.

Erling Haaland scored twice as Manchester City thumped bitter rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford last Sunday afternoon, with boyhood supporter Phil Foden also on the scoresheet during the derby victory.

The esteemed Manchester City duo both netted against Bournemouth back in February on the south coast, with Andoni Iraola’s side having won just one Premier League game so far this season.

Bournemouth secured their first victory of the ongoing Premier League campaign last weekend, beating newly-promoted Burnley prior to being knocked out of the Carabao Cup to Liverpool in midweek.

Saturday’s match will be the Blues’ final home Premier League game before the November international break, with Manchester City bidding to maintain a record-breaking winning streak at the Etihad Stadium.

Ahead of kick-off at the Etihad Stadium, Pep Guardiola and Andoni Iraola have now confirmed their respective starting line-ups.

Starting XI: Ederson; Walker, Akanji, Stones, Ake; Rodri, Kovacic, Alvarez; Bernardo, Haaland, Doku.
