Pep Guardiola has named his Manchester City team for Saturday’s clash against Wolves at Molineux in the Premier League.
Manchester City are looking to bounce back from suffering their earliest exit from a domestic cup competition in over a decade this weekend, when Pep Guardiola’s side travel to the Midlands to face Wolves in the Premier League.
Erling Haaland, who didn’t feature during Wednesday’s loss to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup, scored a hat-trick when Manchester City beat Wolves in the Premier League in January, with the Blues having won five consecutive matches against this weekend’s opponents.
The Blues are also looking to maintain their winning start to the Premier League season with a victory on Saturday afternoon, after securing a sixth consecutive win last weekend, after a 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest, courtesy of early Phil Foden and Erling Haaland goals.
Rodri remains suspended for Manchester City, meanwhile Matheus Nunes, who moved to the Etihad Stadium on Deadline Day from Wolves, is set to feature against his former club at Molineux this afternoon.
