Manchester City will look to move themselves to within just four wins of a fourth successive Premier League title win with victory over Nottingham Forest this weekend.

The Premier League champions can hammer another nail into the Liverpool coffin with a victory at the City Ground, after Jurgen Klopp’s side followed up their Merseyside derby defeat to Everton with a 2-2 draw against West Ham.

Victory for Manchester City would move them four points clear of Liverpool, whilst also keeping the direction of this season’s top-flight title firmly in their hands, despite Arsenal remaining top of the league heading into the clash.

Erling Haaland returned to training this week having missed Manchester City’s last two matches against Chelsea and Brighton, with the latter contest resulting in a dominant 0-4 victory for the side looking to win an unprecedented fourth successive league crown.

As for Nottingham Forest, and after all of the controversy surrounding officiating decisions at Goodison Park, the City Ground faithful are likely to create an intense atmosphere in their search for Premier League safety this season.
