Confirmed: Chelsea to face Liverpool on opening day of 2023/24 Premier League season

Chelsea will face Liverpool on the opening day of the 2023/24 Premier League season, it has been confirmed.

The Premier League released the 38-game schedule on Thursday morning which will see the Blues begin their campaign at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea will come up against Jurgen Klopp’s side in west London on Sunday 13th August, with the match kicking off at 4.30pm.

Mauricio Pochettino’s first league task will be against the Reds, who finished 5th in 2022-23.

Chelsea will host AFC Bournemouth on the final day of the season on Sunday 19th May – kick-off 4pm.

Saturday 12th August: Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest – 12.30pm (UK)

Saturday 12th August: AFC Bournemouth vs West Ham United – 3pm (UK)

Saturday 12th August: Brighton & Hove Albion vs Luton Town – 3pm (UK)

Saturday 12th August: Everton vs Fulham – 3pm (UK)

Sunday 13th August: Brentford vs Tottenham Hotspur – 2pm (UK)

Sunday 13th August: Chelsea vs Liverpool – 4.30pm (UK)
